Senior Clinical Trial Manager

Zealand Pharma A/S (Zealand) is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to join the Clinical Operations Department. The department is responsible for setting up, overseeing and directing clinical trials with the use of CROs.
The department is part of Clinical and Medical Affairs. It is composed of a dynamic team with 14 enthusiastic and professional colleagues. We have an open and respectful environment encouraging knowledge sharing and where we welcome new ideas and approaches.
Due to the high number of trials and projects ongoing and in preparation, we are seeking a new colleague to join our team
Job Profile
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Designing, planning, conducting and reporting of clinical trials
Leading the clinical trial team - ensuring good collaboration and communication within the team
Securing a successful trial conduct and trial deliverables
Driving the selection of and contracting process with CROs
Leading the collaboration with CROs
Risk assessment of the clinical trials and the development of sponsor oversight plans and activities
Providing input to the clinical development plans and regulatory authority interactions when relevant
Adhering to and advancing the clinical operational procedures.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
An academic degree in medical, biological, health, veterinarian or pharmaceutical sciences
A minimum of 5 years relevant clinical trial execution experience, preferable in phase 2/3 trials and within one or more of the following therapeutic areas: Orphan indications, diabetes or gastrointestinal diseases
Experience from collaborating with CROs or working in a CRO is preferable
Solid knowledge and experience within GCP, ICH and FDA/EMA regulations
Proficiency in written and spoken English
A quality mind-set

Able to keep perspective and priorities in a busy working environment
