Application Manager
in a biotech company focused on the discovery, design and development of innovative peptide-based medicines
Currently, we are looking for a new Application Manager, who has experience with maintenance of business applications, stakeholder management and user support. This is a great opportunity for you to join our new team in the IT department, “Business IT Projects and Applications”. We ensure that business applications are implemented, maintained, and developed in Zealand.
You will have an outstanding chance to be part of the implementation of our new HR system Workday and to help build up a governance and support other non-GxP IT applications within Finance, People and Organization, Legal and Research.
You will be part of a fantastic team of other Application Managers and Project Managers, where team work and enthusiasm are buzz words. We currently have a portfolio of the following systems: ERP, Serialization, Safety Database, SAS, eTMF, Veeva QualityDocs, Training and Submission, and you will work closely together in the team backing each other up.
Responsibilities
You will:
be part of a new Workday implementation and have the system responsibility after go live.
have the overall system responsibility for some of our non-GxP Applications.
be responsible for planning and implementing upgrades, bug fixes, changes etc. in close collaboration with our end-users.
be assuring good communication to and from end-users and data owners by e.g., hosting System Steering Groups.
for each system set up a structure for daily administration i.e., user maintenance, user assistance, and problem solving in close collaboration with Owning departments and IT Support.
ensure system governance by providing data to System Steering Committee and align with IT Committee.
ensure supplier management and oversight on relevant systems.
Candidate profile
3+ years in experience with IT systems and infrastructure in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Experience with building and maintaining support and governance around IT systems.
Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
Can do attitude in a fast moving atmosphere, where team efforts are in focus ensuring we reach all our goals.
