Currently, we are looking for a new Analytical Scientist, who has an interest in developing HPLC- and LC-MS/MS methods for peptide characterization in research and early development projects. Several years of experience is NOT a prerequisite, however creativity, can-do-attitude and team spirit should be a part of your DNA. You will be joining Pharmaceutical Development which currently consists of 4 technologists, 3 analytical scientists, 5 drug product specialists, 1 drug substance specialist, 2 CMC-PMs, 1 CMC-Coordinator and 1 HoD. We are not limited to our area of expertise, and we help each other where and when it is needed. We work closely together both inter and intra departmentally - having the same goal and at the same time a lot of FUN. Our department goal is to help a colleague succeed – we follow that every day.

Responsibilities

• Development of stability indicating HPLC/SEC methods
• Evaluation of stability data on peptide candidates
• Evaluation of impurities and degradation pathways in peptide candidates
• Pre-validation of HPLC/SEC methods

Candidate profile

• An MSc/PhD within chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or another relevant field. Several years of industrial experience is not a prerequisite.
• Knowledge of analytical methods such as HPLC, SEC and/or LC-MS
• Knowledge of DLS, ThT and MALS is an advantage.
• Experience with laboratory work and motivated to work 20-30 % in the laboratory.
• Experience with participating in cross functional project teams and well-developed collaboration skills is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and motivation for taking on new challenges.
