(Senior) Clinical Pharmacology Scientist

Currently, we are looking for a new Clinical Pharmacology Scientist, who has a track record in clinical pharmacology or trial management with a strong scientific capability. Clinical Pharmacology is part of the Medical & Science department which currently consists of 6 Medical Experts and 3 Clinical Pharmacologists with diverse backgrounds. Your task is to design, plan and conduct early phase clinical trials to improve the understanding of a compound, including clinical pharmacology aspects and integration of experimental medical research in biomarkers and relevant methods to measure disease change. You will refer to the Head of Medical & Science. This area of Zealand Pharma is undergoing a fast development with many near future opportunities depending on your experience and engagement.

Responsibilities

In the position as Clinical Pharmacologist you will be responsible for contributing to the clinical and regulatory development plans and strategies for specific projects. You collaborate with the project teams to implement and execute the clinical plans according to applicable guidelines to ultimately support marketing authorizations. You will lead the cross-functional trial team together with a trial manager. You are responsible for the scientific content and strategic fit of the trial, and for ensuring the overall implementation of the trial plans from ideation to reporting. Zealand Pharma is working with a fully outsourced operating model utilizing CROs for the operational trial implementation. Your ability to lead and oversee complex operations is important.
