Currently, we are looking for a new leader for the IT QA team, who has pharma experience in the GxP-regulated area, a strong background within IT, and are a strong leader, both as people manager and an influential leader with stakeholders. We are a dynamic QA department with a can-do attitude that works on projects and provides oversight and advice to our colleagues. Our IT QA team is working proactively to set the quality standards and follow through on initiatives to secure data integrity in the IT systems that is supporting our clinical trials, as well as systems covering product quality, that enable products to reach our patients.

We are a growing organization which sets high demands for oversight of both internal GXP IT systems and IT systems at our Contract Research Organizations. In QA we are four teams covering IT QA, GMP QA, GCP QA and Quality Systems, and we are located in Søborg.
A workday here is a combination of relationship building, documentation review, audits and training well as daily leadership. You will be a part of an experienced and supportive QA Management team where we build the quality foundation in Zealand for the years to come and where you can further develop your leadership competencies. The position reports to the VP and Head of QA.

Responsibilities

• Leading the IT QA team as people manager and inspire the team to act as the lighthouse of IT Compliance in Zealand while building close and respectful relationships with colleagues, suppliers and vendors
• Perform quality oversight on computerized systems at our vendors and execute on the IT Audit plan
• Secure the compliance together with the IT QA Team and relevant Zealand departments and demonstrate this at authority inspections

Candidate profile

We envision that you have:

• Strong IT competencies preferably with a master’s degree in IT science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or life science
• More than 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical business, preferably within IT System validation and you know your GAMP5
• You are a strong communicator and ambitious with an ability to follow through on the compliance ideas and initiatives in the company to the right quality level
• Proven people manager skills with a sound quality culture combined with a good organizational understanding
