QA Manager, Quality Systems
in a biotech company focused on the discovery, design and development of innovative peptide-based medicines
Currently, we are looking for a proactive, and structured QA Manager in Quality Systems, who has a relevant academic background, and some years of experience working with development QA. If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities with an independent attitude, you are a match for us.
In Zealand QA we are a team of 14 and we act as Quality Partners for the GLP, GCP, GMP and IT areas internally as well as performing quality oversight of the Zealand suppliers. The position is placed at our headquarter in Søborg. The new QA Manager will be part of the Quality Systems team reporting to the Associate Director, Quality Systems.
Responsibilities
You will be a key contributor to our Quality Systems team and participate in or lead projects to improve the way we work at Zealand. We hope that with your background and 'can-do attitude' will support setting the strategic direction of the quality owned processes and leave your mark on our continuous development. Furthermore, you can look forward to the following tasks:
Quality Systems oversight of Zealand suppliers, where you will ensure efficient process including:
- Creation and maintenance of our Supplier Quality Agreements
- Maintaining the Approved Suppliers List
- Audit excellence
- Participate in Regulatory Inspections and Partner audits
Compliance performance monitoring:
- Ensure audit excellence for the audit process
- Contribute to the execution of Internal audits
- You will develop and generate reports and dashboards as part of the compliance monitoring for the organization to maintain an overview of status and progress
Quality Management System (QMS):
- Perform Quality System review and approval of new and updated SOPs
- Ensure communication of relevant quality and compliance tasks and strategies
Candidate profile
We imagine that the right candidate has a high degree of structural skills and the ability to transform them to practical solutions. Proven communication skills and an understanding of presenting data and information to a broad aray of stakeholders. Furthermore, we hope that you have some of the below qualifications:
- Relevant master’s degree with some years of development QA experience
- A proven track record of all elements of a Pharmaceutical Quality System
- A strong analytical mindset
- Excellent IT skills particular in usage of Excel and the Teams platform
- Knowledge of the Veeva Vault system will be a benefit. Zealand Pharma is using Veeva as our EDMS
- Pragmatic and yet with a compliant quality mindset
