Principal Medical Writer

Are you passionate about medical writing and eager to make a difference in the world of biopharmaceuticals? We are looking for talented colleague to join our innovative and dedicated Medical Writing Team.
At Zealand Pharma, we are committed to advancing the development of peptide-based medicines to improve the lives of patients with unmet medical needs. Our Medical Writing Team plays a crucial role in this mission, working collaboratively to produce high-quality regulatory documents and scientific publications.
Currently, we are looking for a Principal Medical Writer with a strong background in medical science, excellent writing skills, and the ability to interpret and present complex scientific data clearly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of regulatory documents and scientific manuscripts, including clinical summaries, regulatory meeting packages, investigator’s brochures, clinical study reports etc.
- Ensure all documents comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Engage in cross-functional teams, including clinical research, regulatory affairs, and biostatistics, to reach project goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of document templates and writing standards.
Candidate profile
- Academic degree in a relevant scientific or medical discipline (e.g., Biology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related field).
- Several years of experience in medical writing, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research, regulatory processes, and scientific methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
