The DK Finance Team is located in Søborg and we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant who can assume all aspects of this role but also take it to the next level. In the near future a new ERP system will be implemented, and new processes will be adopted. Since we are registered on the US NASDAQ stock exchange, we are SOX compliant which means that besides the regular AP tasks there are a number of internal control tasks and procedures that need to be completed and followed. We are looking for a person that can ‘own’ all aspects of Accounts Payable and is curious with respect to see where improvements/efficiencies can be implemented.

The DK Finance Team is currently made up of a team of 7 dedicated employees relatively new to Zealand who each have their roles and responsibilities but at the same time interact with each other forming a strong finance team.

Job Profile

Responsibilities include:

• Vendor Invoice Flow - registration, verification of proper approval, posting and payment of vendor invoices
• Vendor Master Data maintenance
• AP month end reconciliations and procedures
• Contact with vendors and Zealand employees
• Travel/employee purchase expense flow - registration, verification of proper approval, posting and payment of employee expenses
• Accruals and prepaids reconciliations
• VAT reporting and reconciliation
• Skatteverket VAT reporting and reconciliation

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have most or all of the below qualifications:

• A relevant education to support this role
• Strong accounts payable background preferably from a publicly registered company
• Structured
• Solid system understanding so easily able to adapt to new systems
• Experience with Axapta 2012
• Experience with Navidoc
• Knowledge of ERP system QAD is a plus
• High degree of service mindedness and a positive outlook
• Experience with PO system and procedures
• Fluent in Danish and English
