Cyber Security Specialist

Currently, we are looking for a new Cyber Security Specialist, who has experience working with cyber security frameworks, awareness, and security tools. If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities with an independent attitude, you are a match for us.​

You will be part of the IT team, working closely with and reporting to the Head of Cyber Security.

As part of the Cyber Security team in IT, you take on a broad set of responsibilities focusing on minimizing cyber security risk & impact. This entails being a cyber security evangelist – creating continuous awareness for all employees, supporting business units ensuring risk is evaluated and minimized when engaging with partners or acquiring new technology, creation & updating information security policies, working with best-in-class security tools & external partners improving our ability prevent, detect & respond to threats.

The IT Cyber Security team has support from the top management to determine acceptable levels of IT risk for the organization, and you will help establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management system as well as defining the cyber security roadmap.

Responsibilities

Co-create and maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS) ensuring risks are continuously evaluated and appropriate controls are put in place where needed.

Work with Cyber Security service providers & partners ensuring efficient attack surface reduction, threat detection & response. As well as penetration tests, purple team assessments are continuously scoped & conducted. Develop and maintain Incident Response playbooks.

Assist with data mapping, classification and protection utilizing advanced Information Protection tools.

Support and engage with business ensuring they are enabled securely by IT whether it be new applications, AI, or day to day tasks. This can entail risk assessments, reviewing technical architecture and setting requirements for vendors & external partners.

Spark cyber security awareness and learning continuously in our company.

Candidate profile

Most importantly:

Excellent oral and written English communication skills a must.

Work experience can vary. Experience with regulated industries (GxP) is a plus. Experience with EDR, NDR, DLP, SIEM is a plus. Experience in a SOC, IR Team or performing penetration tests is a plus. Experience in the domain of GRC, and working with frameworks such as CIS18, NIST CSC or ISO207001 is a plus. ISACA/GIAC/OffSec certifications are a plus. We understand unicorns are hard to find.
